Each year, thousands of parents throughout the New York-tristate area as well as the world bring their children to the Morgan Stanley Children's Hospital of NewYork-Presbyterian to seek the expertise, compassion, and medical leadership that has defined our institution for more than a century.
In 2006, U.S.News & World Report recognized the outstanding level of care we provide to each of our young patients. The publication rated us one of the top five pediatric hospitals in the nation, the only pediatric hospital in the tristate area to earn this honor. According to the magazine, the highest-ranking hospitals regularly perform complex procedures, rigorously adhere to advanced treatment guidelines, incorporate new findings into patient care, and conduct research that offers severely ill patients hope by providing more healthcare options.
In addition, Morgan Stanley Children's Hospital is among the world's major centers for basic and clinical pediatric research. Through our active research program, we've made extraordinary contributions to the understanding of childhood diseases as well as to their prevention and treatment.
To ensure that pediatric patients in the tristate region have access to our cutting-edge diagnostic and treatment programs, we've formed partnerships with 16 hospitals throughout the area. These members are part of the Children's Healthcare System of NewYork-Presbyterian.
