Laura M. Flanigan, RN, PNP
Ms. Flanigan is a graduate of the Children's Hospital School of Nursing in Boston. In 1976 she completed the certification program as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner at Catholic University. She received her Baccalaureate from St. Peter's College and a Masters in Nursing with a specialty in Pediatric Advanced Practice from Rutger's University. Her nursing experience includes pediatric surgical nursing in varied capacities.
After several years at The Children's Hospital in Boston, she went to The Children's Hospital in Washington, D.C. where she worked as the Pediatric Surgical Nurse Coordinator for the Chief of Surgery for over ten years. For nine years she was the Head Nurse of the Pediatric Unit at the Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center. In 1984 she became the Clinical Manager of Morgan Stanley Children's Hospital of NewYork-Presbyterian Operating Rooms. She assumed her current position as Pediatric Nurse Practitioner (PNP) for the Division of Pediatric Surgery in 1993.
