Our pediatric nurses are experienced and highly trained practitioners who carry out responsibilities that are all encompassing--whether they are caring for a child recovering from same-day surgery or one who is under treatment for a life-threatening burn. They interact with physicians and other healthcare professionals; manage complex medical needs, procedures and therapies; respond to questions, fears and concerns from anxious parents; and help the children cope with their conditions. Their contributions are profound and integral to family-centered care, which is core to patient care at Morgan Stanley Children's Hospital.
