The Center for Bariatric Surgery at Morgan Stanley Children's Hospital is dedicated to helping adolescents who are obese lose weight when conventional methods have been unsuccessful. The Hospital's surgical team has extensive experience in laparoscopic bariatric surgery and long-term management of patients in a supportive and caring environment. In particular, laparoscopic adjustable gastric banding is offered since its history of safety, success, and adjustability (as well as reversibility) is believed to provide the best combination for adolescents.
