Interpreter Services

Trained volunteers or agency interpreters are available to interpret for patients, family members and health care providers. All limited English-speaking patients who request this service must be provided with an interpreter at no cost to them. This service includes American Sign Language for the hard of hearing or deaf patient. Respect for cultural practices and beliefs and adherence to a strict code of ethics, which includes the patient's right to privacy and confidentiality, are upheld at all times If an interpreter is necessary, please inform a member of your unit's healthcare team who will contact the Hospital's Interpreter Services.
